YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK - PERMANENT EXHIBITS

The park hosts a permanent collection of sculptures including the largest collection of Henry Moores in Europe.

And there has been a magnificent marble head - Héros de Lumière - by Igor Mitoraj, though it is susceptible to frost damge, so it is taken indoors for the winter and is sometimes on loan elsewhere.







There is one of Jaume Plensa's beautiful sleeping heads, title Wilsis, viewed across the lake and (below that) in close-up..
