   Originally Mediterranean, it was first recorded in the UK in 1951 (Isle of Wight); since then it has spread rapidly north.
   The larvae feed on Cypress, including Leylandii - hence the spread.   Blair?   I don't know who he was, but he also had a Wainscot and a
   Mocha named for him.
