Cream-spot Tiger, Rewell Wood, West Sussex. May 2022
The gaudy colours indicate that it is distasteful to predators. The larvae are cerainly poisonous and, if it shares its physiology with the
closely related Garden Tiger, both larvae and adult contain neurotoxins, dangerous to any predator.
